q: what is evergreen lights?
a: a 25 minute light show on the front of evergreen's main building, with over 100,000 lights synchronized to christmas music.
q: why is evergreen putting on a free christmas light show for the community?
a: we really want to be a church that really makes bothell a better place to live, work and find community. we want to serve the city and the people of bothell in any way we can because that's what following Jesus means. we hope everyone who comes to evergreen lights will be blessed for having done so.
q: what does it cost to watch and listen?
a: nothing. it is a free show. if you would like to give anyway, you can make a donation to the YMCA (there will be a booth at the Christmas Lights Display).
q: what time does it run?
a: 530pm-10pm every night
q: what day does it start / end?
a: it starts December 1st 2014 and ends on January 1st 2015
q: where should i park to watch and listen to the show?
a: park in the north parking lot (accessible from 27th ave se and 35th ave se) and make your way to the viewing area on the north side of the smaller east building. this viewing area will be marked with lights and tents.
q: will the viewing area be "staffed"?
a: yes, there will be different volunteers at the viewing area each night through Christmas Eve, and then the show will run automatically December 25th through Jan 1st.
q: will there be food and drink available?
a: yes, hot cocoa, candy canes and other baked goods will be available free of charge at the viewing area.
q: will there be public restrooms?
yes! There are Honey- Buckets near the viewing area.
q: what are some other stats about the light show?
a: over 100,000 lights - over 3 miles of wire, 17 control boxes, 270 channels and a team of dedicated volunteers make the lights show possible.
q: will it be bigger and better next year?
a: oh yes it will!
q: i want to help as a volunteer during one of the nights. how do i do that?
a: awesome! it doesn't matter whether or not you attend evergreen, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and he'll help you find a team to join on one of the nights!

Driving I-405 North: Take Exit 24, Beardslee Blvd/NE 195th St. At the light take a RIGHT and go over the freeway heading West. After passing over the freeway go past the Northshore YMCA on your RIGHT and take a LEFT at the 3rd stoplight onto 39th Ave SE. Follow 39th Ave SE until the T-junction with 240th St SE. Turn LEFT at the T-junction, then take your next RIGHT onto 35th Ave SE. The church is on your left. Enter the church parking lot on your LEFT and follow the signs to the church entrances. Driving I-405 South: Take Exit 26, Bothell-Everett Hwy/WA 527. At the light take a LEFT, heading East, on 228th St SE. Follow 228th St SE until 27th Ave SE. Take a RIGHT onto 27th Ave SE/Fitzgerald Road and follow it for 1 mile until you reach the 4-way stop. Turn LEFT onto 35th Ave SE. The church is on your left. Enter the church parking lot on your LEFT and follow the signs to the church entrances. Welcome home.
